I just couldn’t resist. Last week at the end of my story I mentioned how totally UN-newsworthy Yahoo! news has become. By example, I complained that Vicki from “The Real Housewives of Orange County” seems to be featured as headline news several days out of each week.
And who has the top headline today? You guessed it:
I just want to ask, why? Why, Yahoo!, WHY? Who freaking cares?!!!
Not I, said the little red hen. Not I.

Carol, I was a big fan of the “Real Housewives of New York” and watched Orange County for a while, and the short-lived DC. So, I sure can’t point a finger at fans! What kills me is with all that’s going on in the world, how Yahoo! has Vicki’s love life as their leading story two or three days a week! Obviously, I need to get a (somewhat) more serious news page. Another interesting phenomenon in all kinds of news outlets these days are advertorials disguised as real news. It’s often hard to find the teeny disclaimer. Thanks for reading my stuff – xoxox!
