Okay. I had the most amazing time at the Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop in Dayton last weekend. A. Maz. Ing. I am so inspired and excited I’m about a step away from peeing on the carpet like an overstimulated pup.
Here are some of the awesome people I met: Charlene Bell, Judith Podell, Kari Collins, Jay Kulpa, Janet Jensen, Crystal Edwards, Lisa Tognola, Darlene Sneden, Julie Ott, to name a few. May you each live well and prosper. And don’t even get me started on the speakers and the workshop presenters and the adorable Bombeck family. I am now a Bombeck groupie.
With a tip of the hat to an old friend, Joe (wherever you are), if I felt any better, I’d have to be twins. Life is good.
Loved meeting you. Loved the conference. Am still kind of amazed and grateful that such a conference exists. and now I have some new smart funny women friends to keep me inspired. As well as renewed respect for the state of Ohio as birthplace of humane comic genius–Erma and Thurber.
My sweet dear, it was a hoot! I loved meeting and getting to know you. And, now that I’ve settled in after the Dayton trip, I’m finally reading blogs! Yours’ are great….keep ’em coming!
Rock on with your bad self, sista!
